Assistant Executive Director

Habitat for Hope is seeking an assistant executive director.  Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to: management and direction of HFH staff members, preparation and completion of fundraising efforts, and management and direction of available funds and resources. This position will work in tandem and report directly to the Executive Director. Additionally, speaking and visioncasting opportunities will be plentiful.

The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of experience as a team manager, and have a history of being a fruitful team player with an outgoing and positive attitude. He or she will be a committed Christian, with a heart toward discipleship and authentic relationship with others. Prior experience in nonprofit or ministry is a significant plus.  Bachelor’s Degree in any related field is a must. Masters level education and/or seminary experience will be a significant bonus. Maintenance Director

HFH is seeking a part-time or full-time Maintenance Director.  Responsibilities will include: maintenance and upkeep of all buildings and grounds, coordinating or facilitating daily maintenance, prioritizing maintenance projects, and recruiting and organizing volunteer groups.  Ideally, the Maintenance Director would be generally capable and able to take on a variety of tasks that may include landscaping, light construction, drywall repair, plumbing, electrical, and/or recruiting volunteers.

Family Care Coordinator

Habitat for Hope is seeking a married couple, family or individual to assume duties within the family care department. This role may have the flexibility and growth to assume the responsibilities of the Director of Family Care. Main responsibilities will include: visitation and support of families enduring the pediatric illness of a child, relationship building and discipleship of said families.  This position will work in tandem and report directly
to the Executive Director. Speaking and the ability to share verbally with the community at large is a desired plus. Flexibility to travel outside of the area will be at times a must. VIsioncasting opportunities in new communities, as well as a desire to teach and train others in this department will be an added opportunity.

The successful candidate will have experience in compassion care, chaplaincy, counseling, pastoring, and/or discipleship ministry. He or she must have a flexible attitude and spirit, as the needs of families can arise any time of day or night.  He or she will have skill and desire to openly communicate and work together with the team at large. He or she will be a committed Christian. A desire to live in community and fruitfully build relationships with others is a must. This is an ideal position within HFH for a family or individual with personal experience of the illness or loss of a child or significant loved one. Bachelor’s level work or higher is a must.
