Volunteering with Habitat for Hope has given us the opportunity to serve as a family. Our hearts have been touched by many children who, despite everything they are going through, greet us with smiling faces. We have made some wonderful friends and have been blessed to be a small part of the lives of their precious children.
-Rita Whited, Support Staff

Habitat for Hope has 3 couples that work full time to accomplish care for families. The rest of our team is comprised of Support Staff and Volunteers. The rapid growth and effectiveness of this ministry relies mainly on the commitment and care of those that choose to serve through Habitat for Hope!
Our Support Staff are like a large family, and when we get together, it’s a wonderful sense of love and care among friends. Many of them have served through Habitat for Hope for more than 2 years. Because of this, we do ask that our support staff be clearly committed to our mission, vision and values.

Our Volunteer Staff are those friends that feel able to help in a specific area of the ministry, on a less regular basis. Sometimes this takes the form of special event help or fundraising.
While Ty was sick & in the hospital, the volunteers with Habitat for Hope were like our family. Their visits, kind words & prayers were always a breath of fresh air. I don’t think we could have gone through this without them. They were & are all truly a blessing.
-Gretchen, mom of Ty, AML patient
